Yes, of course Lewis is in this

In my opinion, Formula 1 race weekends are not only about the race –– they are also about the clothes. Honestly, for me, weekends function almost like a fashion show, where everyone has a chance to express their own style. Today we are going to look at some of what I believe are the best race day outfits of the guests so far this season, with two driver honourable mentions.
First, we have . Miss Charlotte Siné, who has a signature style of keeping it casual yet dressy, and manages to perfect the balance of higher end (e.g. Gucci) and more mainstream brands (e.g. Zara). Something I personally love about Charlotte’s style is her use of blazers and jackets: wardrobe staples that one can never go wrong with.
The outfit we’re looking at is the one she wore in Imola. First of all, the beige suits her so well and really complements her. Matching her jacket and pants was a great choice, as well as the matching black shirt and black shoes; overall this outfit is simple yet so perfect. The length of pant was also a great choice. In terms of accessories, I’m obsessed. She is wearing a few rings, necklace, and earrings that are so dainty, they add to the outfit instead of overwhelming it. The bag is a great touch as the light grey works perfectly with the colour of her jacket and pants. Lastly, who would have thought runners were the shoe to go with? I would never have thought to pair them with this outfit, but I am so glad she did.
The second outfit we're going to look at is from Monaco: a tough weekend in terms of racing but a great one in terms of Charlotte and her outfits. I admire how Charlotte is not afraid to mix and match colour and pattern; the use of this combination in this outfit is very complementary. The pattern of the blazer is so simple and perfect, that from a distance one may not have known there was any pattern. Once again, I love the cut of the pants –– they are so smart. Similar to the last outfit, the shoe choice may not be one that I would ever think to pair with this outfit, but I love that she did. This outfit is classy and functional. I also love the Ferrari cap attached to her bag, it’s not really part of the outfit but everything she does looks effortless so really for all we know, it could be.
Moving on, we have Carmen Montero Mundt. Carmen uses a similar mix of higher-end and more affordable clothes as Charlotte. The way in which she styles the higher end pieces is tasteful – who likes outward flashiness? Definitely not me.
For her first outfit, I love her colour palette: I am aware it is black and white, but this allows for other statement pieces and pops of colour, as she did here with her scarf. The flowy nature of this outfit perfectly fits the vibe of the environment and I love how she has carried this theme through the use of her scarf, her top, and pants. The little detail of the tie in the front of her pants is so subtle but definitely adds to the outfit. The pattern of her bag is fun and simple, and makes it a great addition to the outfit, providing a second fun pattern.
I love the look of her second outfit:, it is so laid back but adds a dressier detail in the form of the belt and the single gold necklace.. The simple and small details of the rolled shirt cuffs and the mask matching her shirt make the outfit. Finally, the contrast of tight and loose achieved through the loose top, tight pants, and belt is a look you can never go wrong with; it is tried and true. Personally, I also find this tends to be a more comfortable outfit as you don’t feel that you’re suffocating in your own clothes.
Next up is Sandra Dziwiszek. First off, her hair, need I say more? It always looks so perfect, and nothing pulls an outfit together better than perfect hair. Anyways, onto the clothes.
First, we have her Bahrain denim jumpsuit. I love everything about this: the hair, the outfit, the shoes, the mask (we love a matching look), and the attitude –– she knows she looks amazing and she’s embracing it. This jumpsuit has many intricate stitching details, giving it a mesmerizing quality. The detail of the gold on the denim is so simple but makes it all that much better. I typically do not love a flare pant look, but this is the exception. The jewelry matches the gold of the buttons and the straps; it is the attention to detail of all intricate matching that takes her outfit to the next level.
Sandra’s second outfit is out of this world. Despite very clearly wearing a designer jacket, the monochrome and overall simplicity of this outfit plus the chic styling doesn’t make her outfit overwhelming or tacky. I love the (mostly) monochrome nature of this outfit and its use of the white blouse to add a nice accent. I also love the use of her accessories like the pussy bow, as it ties the black into the blouse and looks simply lovely. And her dainty rings? Chef’s kiss. Basically, I’m obsessed.
Now we have Minttu Raikkonen. This outfit gives me “I’m a bad b***h you can’t kill me” vibes, and I am ABSOLUTELY here for it. She wears this dress so well, it is so flattering, and has a certain edginess to it. The simplicity of the black but the detail of the belt is so well done. I love the zipper detailing leading up into the turtleneck –– I think this is so fun and definitely lets you customize the dress to the mood. I also love the use of accessories: this understated but gorgeous use of accessories lets the dress be the moment.
Lastly but certainly not least , Mrs. Geri Halliwell. Her Monaco outfit? Top tier. This was the perfect outfit to complement her skin tone; some gingers may shy away from white as they don’t want to be washed out, but I’m so glad Geri wore this outfit. Where to start? The monochrome nature of this outfit makes it seem so light and airy, despite being form-fitting. Next, I said it before and I will say it again: you can never go wrong with a blazer. The use of the wardrobe staple in this outfit makes the balance between tight and loose perfect, completely balancing her outfit. The gold button detail near the neckline is perfect, and it offers something fun but not aggressive, giving the outfit a subtle attitude.
Overall, I have nothing negative to say about these outfits. All these women are rocking it and I would let them style me any day. Now, onto the driver honorary mentions.
Up first, we have Sir Lewis Hamilton. Not only is he very talented on track, but this man has probably the best sense of style of any man I’ve ever witnessed. A lot of people tend to shy away from pattern, but not Lewis, and I love it. Not only is he wearing a pattern, he’s wearing a patterned set AND matching shoes. The little detail of the shoe really just ties it all together for me. There is an attitude to this outfit, and I am here for it. Pastels work for Lewis, and I hope to see him wearing them again sometime soon. Honestly, I am struggling to put into words how much I love this outfit.
Continuing with the trend of pastels, we have Pierre Gasly. This outfit is so simple but so good: from the colour to the hiked-up sleeves, and the shoes, and of course, the bag is a yes. I love that every part of this somehow matches; it seems very well thought out, while also being very simple. Like Lewis, Pierre and pastels are best friends. Generally, I just think blue is Pierre’s colour (it really complements his eyes). Lastly, I love the bracelet he is wearing on his right wrist, it’s so simple but it matches the outfit. Food for thought: backwards cap Pierre with hiked up sleeves ––you’re welcome.
Obviously this is a very select number of the outfits we have seen so far, and it was hard to choose my favourites. I hope we keep on this trend of great outfits as it just adds a little “je ne sais quoi” to already very exciting weekends.
